I would like to introduce ourselves, John and Paulette Smith of Litil Kisses Pomeranians, located in Byram a small rural area south of Jackson, MS. We are new to this wonderful world of owning, showing, breeding, and raising these little bundles of joy called Pomeranians.

We purchased our first bitch puppy in 2005 and have been smitten with the breed ever since. After purchasing our girl, we have learned a great deal about Pomeranians. After much research, we purchased two more show hopefuls from Ken and Eleanor Griffith of Lenette Pomeranians in North Carolina. Ken and Eleanor have become dear friends and we cannot "Thank" them enough for helping us get started.

We started our show career in 2006 and have had the good fortune of meeting many caring and sharing owners, breeders, and handlers on our journey. One breeder/handler in particular has been a tremendous influence on us. They are Mike and Shalon Parrott of Ragdoll Pomeranians. They have taken the time to answer all our questions about every aspect of owning, grooming, showing, breeding, and raising Pomeranians. We will forever be grateful for their friendship.

We have made many other friends in Pomeranians and other breeds who have helped us along the way. We would need a lot of space to list them all individually, but they know who they are. We are thankful for each and every one of them. I must add a special "Thank you" to Vikki Highfield of Highfield Pomeranians for her valued friendship and designing our new website.

The two things we have learned of the greatest importance is to know the breed standard and to have a tremendous amount of patience. We are striving to breed and show quality Pomeranians that meet the AKC standard in every way. This will take a lifetime of hard work and a lot of disappointments along the way, but hopefully we can add a minute contribution to this wonderful breed in the future.

Many breeders have used the quote, "Pomeranians are like potato chips, you can't have just one." We like the quote from the movie, Forrest Gump, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Each little Pomeranian has its own personality and structure, but whether it be of pet quality or a future show dog, we will love and cherish each of these little creatures sent from above.
